IT Manager at a facility for vaccin R&D and small scale production, during its corporatization process. Employed by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport in the function of senior advisor business operations. Member of the transitioning team to disconnect from the government.
Responsible for:
• Change management, policymaking, strategy and vision
• Co-sourcing the IT landscape
• Managing Service Level Agreements internal and external stakeholders
• Establishing an IT-Department and Servicedesk
• Building a hybrid cloud environment, and migrating to Microsoft 365
• Budget, planning and control cycle, of IT resources
• Stimulating awareness of quality systems (GAMP / CSV) in a GMP operating environment
Head IT - Life science
Responsible for all IT related matters of two scientific institutes, part of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), reporting to General Manager. Full responsibility for:
• Change management, policymaking, strategy and vision, in a growing international organization shifting from a laboratory setting to a highly automated data driven imaging center and sequencing facility.
• Establishing and leading a shared service center
• Budget, planning and control cycle of IT and audiovisual media
• Projects including:
o Hybrid cloud environment, tender procedures, bulk storage, big data, security, privacy, audits, and construction activities
o Providing network infrastructure in two newly constructed office buildings, including an energy efficient datacenter, to a multi tenant environment
o Providing audiovisual equipment for conference rooms and auditorium
Manager of Operations -
e-commerce
Contract to deliver Sun Solaris e-business platform for a Netherlands based Internet e-commerce and supply chain visibility company focusing on the Paper Industry. Full responsibility for:
• Design and implementation of an e-commerce platform (24*7 / Highly Available environment)
• Establishing and managing the departments hardware and software development and maintenance, both local and international (UK, US, and India)
• Out-tasking the infrastructure and managed services, implementing Service Level Agreements and Change Management to a third party datacenter
Head IT - Construction Group
Responsible for all IT related issues at Holding level of an international, decentralized, construction company. Reorganisation of IT structure during period of extreme growth (through acquisitions). Integration and standardisation of recently acquired companies. Projects including ERP and CRM implementations. Member of management team, reporting to Finance Director.
Information Manager - International Trade
Specialist Information Systems and advisor to Board of Management of an international trade organisation. Information Manager manager of head office and assistance to decentralised international subsidiaries.
Software specialist
Product specialist personal computing and networks, coordination of international research and development. Providing product presentations for internal and external relationships.
IT Manager - Biotech CMO
Contract to support a bio-pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing Organisation during a transition phase and prepare IT systems for Regulatory Compliance (US FDA). Full responsibility for:
• Change management of growing organisation
• Establishing and leading an IT Service Center
• Implementing quality systems based on GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practices)
• Computerised Systems Validation
• Migration of Infrastructure (Microsoft based)
• Optimizing ERP (NaVision) system in preparation for FDA audit

Management and reorganisation of IT department, implementation of quality based IT support (GAMP / Good Automated Manufacturing Practices), cost management, project management during a period of strategic reorientation (receivership)
